Named for the traditional inlaw suite for elders as the family farm is handed down, the Doddy House is a brand new apartment located five minutes away from historic Jamesport, Missouri, on the Graber family property. When out-of-state relatives visit the farm, the apartment is used for extra space for the current farm owner but is usually available for guest rental and has become a popular destination for those who want to experience Amish country life.

Luxury in Amish Country

The Doddy House can accommodate up to four guests with a queen bed, sofa bed, living area, kitchen, and bathroom. The house has a modern style and is fully equipped with WiFi, TV, air conditioning, and a coffee maker.

A Traditional Homestead

Enjoy the country setting and take a tour of the Graber family home. Mary Graber is the mother of your host, Marie, and lives on the property and will show you her traditional Amish home. Outside there is a horse barn, and you can view a horse buggy commonly used for transportation in the community.
