Valley Springs Farms offers guests the utmost in tranquility and relaxation in a bed and breakfast located on a working farm. Peace and quiet surround you broken only by the gentle sounds of the animals or a tractor from time to time. The scenery is excellent year-round— fresh spring time, glowing autumn, and brisk snowy winters are picturesque on the farm. It’s the perfect place to get away from the hustle bustle of busy life and enjoy the slow pace of things. Our bed and breakfast is located in rural Reedsburg, Wisconsin and is close by to attractions such as the 400 bike trail, Amish Artisans, the Wisconsin Dells, and top Cheese Factories.
Valley Springs Farms practices farm to table and has made it a way of life over the years. Enjoy hearty country breakfasts each day of your stay featuring farm-fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. Look forward to locally produced fruits, vegetables, meats, and eggs when you dine on the farm.
This Wisconsin bed and breakfast features over 250 acres of woodlands, crops, pastures, and wetlands that nurture the wide variety of wildlife and grazing cattle. Birdwatchers will love our spring water pond, which is a popular spot for migratory birds. Take a walk through the grounds and experience flowering plants, berry bushes, vegetable patches, and fruit trees. Guests are welcome to pick berries like raspberries and apples from our trees. Spend a morning drinking coffee on the porch and see the ducks milling about the pond. Take a walk on the hiking trail that goes through woods and meadows. At the end of the day, kick back by the campfire and watch the stars on a clear night.
Don and Dorothy Harms are your innkeepers at Valley Springs Farm. They are lifelong Wisconsin dairy farmers and are now operating a grass-fed beef farm in scenic Reedsburg. Some of their favorite sights include the sandhill cranes coming home during spring and young calves romping in the fields with their moms.
Farmer Don is available to share his wealth of farming experience with guests. If you’re curious about dairy and meat production, take a tour of the farm where you can feed a calf, view the milking process, see their food, and view and get a photograph with an antique John Deere tractor.
