Norman and Sarah Ball are the owners and innkeepers of Blue Mountain Mist. The dream started twenty-eight years ago when she knew her family farm would make the ideal location for a bed and breakfast. They opened the Inn in 1987 during which time their daughter was in college, and their two sons were fifteen and five years old. These days, their sons are working at the inn as office manager and kitchen manager. Their daughter creates art and does graphic design for the family business. Sarah and Norman have deep roots in the Smoky Mountains, and love the beauty and splendor of the area. They enjoy sharing their amazing space with guests and visitors and love calling Blue Mountain Mist their home.
