Just five blocks from McMinnville Oregon’s charming historic downtown is A’ Tuscan Testate Bed and Breakfast. Taking a walk through the area will introduce you to unique shops, art galleries, wine tasting rooms, farm to table restaurants, authentic Oregon breweries. A’ Tuscan Estate is the ideal place to explore the Willamette Valley’s nearly 600 wineries, with central location in McMinnville. Our downtown was rated Best Main Street by Sunset Magazine and the Valley was chosen as Wine Region of the Year by Wine Enthusiast.

You’ll find comfortable furnishings, gorgeous hardwood floors, and Old-World charm throughout this 1928 historic Colonial Style bed and breakfast. Hot beverages are available all day long in the coffee nook, and our three-course gourmet breakfast is served in the cheerful dining room. Our large living room makes meeting other guests and recounting the adventures fo the day a pleasure.

Each guest room includes private ensuite baths, plush robes, wi-fi, and conveniences like hairdryers and irons. The McMinnville Vacation Cottage units feature private kitchens perfect for longer stays. The bed and breakfast’s patios, porches, and gardens are the place to be during warmer months where the sun shines on the Willamette Valley.

About the Innkeepers:

The Innkeeper of A’ Tuscan Estate is Erin Gilchrist. Originally from Indiana, she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Restaurant and Hotel Management from Purdue University. Her career in Hospitality took her around the county to an array of hotels and resorts including:

Along the way she received her Master’s in Human Resource Development from Colorado State University—Denver Center and owned Gilchrist Catering and Pavilion Beverage Concessionaires and founded Custom Performance Consulting while in Dillon, Colorado.

Erin brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in the areas of small business, inn-keeping, hotels, food and beverage, and resorts. She was the Innkeeper at the renowned Ski Tip Lodge in Keystone, Colorado. Her most recent position before the inn was as Director of Food and Beverage at Bandon Dunes Rolf Resort a position held for five years. While working there, her passion for Oregon Wine Country developed into a desire to make her home in the Willamette Valley where she is in the Hospitality Community building upon established winery relationships and associated tourism partnerships.
