Gardens and Porches
The outdoor areas of the inn offer guests space to enjoy fresh air in a beautiful garden setting. The backyard is the perfect place for an afternoon lounge; kick back on one of the chaise chairs and say cheers to a great day in Ste. Genevieve. Meander the grounds where you'll come across various flowers, including lilac, iris, and daffodil; evergreen trees and shrubs provide a festive backdrop in the wintertime. One of the best spots for morning coffee is the second-floor porches. Watch over Main Street from the large front porch, outfitted with abundant wicker seating. The ground floor front porch and garden view side porch is also available, giving you the option to experience different perspectives during your stay. Main Street Inn is surrounded by many trees and green spaces, welcoming nature to flourish with frequent visitors, including squirrels, birds, and other small creatures.
Main Street Inn offers ten unique guest rooms across three floors. Regine's Room is cheerful and bright; the smallest room in the inn charms with a classic blue motif found in the bedding, area rug, and ceramic decor throughout the suite.
After a great night's rest, head to the dining room on the main floor for a full breakfast served each day. Delight in dishes crafted from local ingredients for a fresh flavored treat; a breakfast will include savory favorites like frittata, avocado toast with tomato and feta cheese, and ham. A touch of sweetness is offered as well, with yogurt, granola, and baked bread or pastry to pair with your cup of coffee.
Guests are welcome to a relaxed wine reception held in the inn's North Parlor every evening of your stay. Drop-in at 5:00 for a complimentary glass of wine and a selection of cheeses. This casual occasion is a great time to meet your innkeeper and fellow guests. Cheers.
