Anchorage Bed and Breakfast with Mountain Views
This gorgeous bed and breakfast is home to one of the best views in Anchorage. From their rear deck, you can take in an unobstructed view of the Cook Inlet, with the Alaska Range and Mt Susitna—the "Sleeping Lady”—in the background; on clear days, you can even see Denali in the distance. The scenery is stunning and ever-changing, with spectacular sunsets and sunrises, glistening waters, and wildlife appearing throughout the day. Designed with these beautiful views in mind, at Susitna Place, you can enjoy the scenery from many areas of the house, including the dining room, which features large-pane windows.

The outdoor porch is ideal for hanging out with family and friends. There are six Adirondack chairs, a roundtable with plenty of seating, plus a fire pit to keep everyone warm and cozy. Each morning, guests can enjoy a generous, warm continental breakfast buffet featuring traditional egg dishes, sausage, hash browns, and reindeer sausage. Susitna Suite: This two-room master suite features a sitting area with a queen sleeper sofa, table, gas fireplace, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee bar. Relax in the jetted tub in the ensuite bath, and take in amazing views from the private outdoor patio. Sleeps up to four guests.
Denali Suite: This large-sized suite features a king-size bed, twin sleeper sofa, jetted tub, and a mini-fridge. Cozy up around the fireplace and step onto the private patio for a stunning view. Sleeps up to three guests.
Illiamna Room: This room has a queen-sized bed and an additional twin bed. The room also features a sizeable old-fashioned tub for soaking in, two shower heads in the shower, and dual sinks in the en suite bath. The large storage closet is perfect for your extra luggage, making it great for cruise guests or those with a lot of adventure gear. Sleeps up to three guests.
St. Elias Room: this intimately cozy room has everything you need for a romantic getaway, with a comfortable queen bed and a large walk-in shower. For up to two guests.
Katmai Room: This welcoming room can accommodate up to four guests with its two adjustable queen beds, making it perfect for families and friend groups. The private bath has two sinks and a walk-in shower, providing extra convenience and comfort.

Innkeepers Monica and Steve are excited to welcome you to this incredible part of the world and make your Alaskan adventure the best it can be. Brought to Alaska in 1992 by the Air Force, they fell in love with all of the little things that make it special. And while Monica and Steve have since traveled all around the country, they have always been drawn back to Alaska. So much so, that In 2019, the couple decided to make Susitna Place their new home.
